Online travel sites cut out booking fees
If you thought that there were great deals for booking flights online right now, well the good just got better. Orbitz, Travelocity, and Expedia all announced yesterday that they will be kicking their online booking fees to the curb.
This just proves exactly how much the travel industry is feeling a hit from the slumping economy. In the hypercompetitive world of online travel sales, these guys are doing everything they can to get your travel dollars. But, hey, if you were thinking about booking a flight somewhere in the near future, here’s all the more reason to do so.
