Lexus LFA unveiled at Tokyo Motor Show

It is official, the Lexus LFA is coming out in 2010 and it is awesome. The new Lexus supercar, which at one point seemed as if it may not even come out, is making a debut at the Tokyo Motor Show and trust me, will not disappoint.

LFA will go into production end of 2010, pre-sales of the 500 unit production run start today. Expected pricing for the LFA is around $375,000.

The Lexus LFA’s Power comes from a 4.8-liter V10 mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. This newly developed V10 produces 560 horsepower at 8,700 rpm and 354 lb-ft of torque at 6,800 rpm.

The Lexus LFA uses carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) cabin enhances high body-rigidity to reduce weight. This unique cabin is 100kg lighter than a comparable aluminum cabin.

The LFA’s 0-100km/h comes in 3.7 seconds, and the top speed for the LFA is 325km/h (202mph).

Now that is fast!

But enough jabber, I’ll let the pics and video do the talking.
