Madoff sentenced to 150 years – Fair or foul?
Bernard L. Madoff was sentenced today in Manhattan federal court to 150 years in prison for perpetrating a Ponzi scheme that resulted in billions of dollars of losses to thousands of investor-victims.

California adopts a “cooler car” regulation to cut greenhouse gas emissions
In order to keep cars cooler, thereby cutting down the use of air conditioning, thereby increasing fuel efficiency, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the California Air Resources Board has adopted a regulation that, starting in 2012, will require new cars sold in California to have windows that reflect or absorb heat-producing rays from the sun.

Chevy rolls out their first pre-production version of the 2010 Volt for testing
In the final stage of testing for production and design, Chevy rolled out the first line of pre-production Volts.
A portion of the vehicles will be used to finalize the development of the software and controls for the interface between the driver and the vehicle, while others will be used for crash-testing, endurance-testing, battery-drivetrain interface, etc.
